Skype Session w/ Frostwood Elementary

This last week, Mrs. Sally Craddock and myself, conducted a Skype session to allow our children to discuss what they had learned about birds. We broke down the the type of birds that were studied, and then partnered up our kids to talk over the computer. It was very interesting and the kids LOVED doing it! I would love to continue this with other elementary schools (both in SBISD and across the United States) as it can open a world of 21st century learners participating in collaborative learning! Going Global is COOL!

  1. We enjoyed Skyping with you, too! The best thing about small-group videoconferencing is that each child is able to actively participate. It also validates all of the students' hard researching efforts. Let's do it again, soon!
